About Michael Albaugh

After 28 years of service in the U.S. Army—nearly all of it in special operations—I retired in early 2025. I was truly fortunate to have had the privilege of leading some of the greatest people in the world. Along the way, I learned the value of trust, adaptability, and building organizations where people can thrive. Now, I’m pursuing my MBA and shifting my focus to the business world. I’m especially drawn to leadership, operations, marketing, and data-informed decision-making—areas where I believe my military experience can bring real value. My transition isn’t about leaving something behind—it’s about building on what I’ve learned, continuing to serve in a new way, and helping businesses lead through change, optimize performance, and grow with purpose. I’m currently exploring opportunities where I can contribute in a meaningful way—whether that's in a nonprofit organization in a management or executive role, or within a software company in sales or operations. I’m excited about what’s ahead and eager to bring my experience to a mission-driven team.
