About Michael Alday

I'm a safety oriented person with hands on experience, possessing excellent communication and supervisory skills. I'm a self starter who can work independently or as part of a team. I use a common sense approach to solving problems. I try to look at and implement new ideas to get things done, using the resources available to me. I believe my technical background, mechanical and electrical, enables me to see all aspects of the inspection, maintenance and repair of passenger rail equipment. As an Instructor I have various duties which have to be done in a timely manner which has enabled me to develop good time management skills. I supervise new hires as well as experienced employees which has enabled me to develop strong managerial skills. My goal is to train safety conscience employees who are responsible for the safe mechanical operation of passenger rail equipment.
