About Michael Allshouse

Provides effective and responsive information protection (IP), including personnel, information, and industrial security program support, to Air Education and Training Command (AETC), including Second Air Force (basic military and technical training); Nineteenth Air Force (flying training); the Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS); and Air University, including 145 Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps detachments. Provides oversight of the largest personnel security program in the Air Force, which constitutes 30% of all Air Force clearances due to AETC's recruiting and accessions missions. Advises the Commander, Vice Commander, and other AETC senior leaders on information protection requirements and issues related to recruiting, training, and educating Airmen. Provide recommendations for near- and long-term solutions, strategies, and programming. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of AETC IP, ensuring that Information Protection complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Serves as the final authority risk assessment/management/mitigation advisor to the AETC Commander for converged IP disciplines within and outside of the IP Office.
