About Michael Andrews

I am a driven, enthusiastic, and engaged Watershed Scientist. After spending four years as a fisheries observer in the Bering Sea collecting sustainable fishery data aboard twenty domestic Alaskan fishing vessels for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to begin my graduate school career. I taught in Redwood City, CA for one year full time teaching students from pre-Kindergarten to college in issues revolving around marine and environmental sciences. In Fall 2017, I began my Master of Science degree at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) in Applied Marine and Watershed Science with an emphasis in Watershed Science. In May 2019, I graduated from CSUMB with my Master of Science degree. I am searching for positions in the water industry including, but not limited to, water quality, resources, conservation, and maintenance. I am also interested in GIS analyses, hydrology, and hydrography.
