About Michael Anthony

As a Principal Creative Director at Workday, I bring our user experience to the public. My team create user-centric stories that showcase the best of our product strategy, vision, and design; notably for major events like Workday Rising US, EMEA. We also support marketing campaigns, product marketing, and sales enablement efforts. As an independent filmmaker, I work primarily as a documentarian. Buddy Check For Jesse, which explores mental health and youth sport, will be released this fall. My first documentary, a six-part miniseries, explores the environmental, social, and economic movement of waste-pickers, locally known as Diverters. Diverters is available now on streaming services. I'm passionate about the local film community. Alongside close colleagues, I've co-directed visually lush music videos for international artists like Diplo, Rebecca Black, and bbno$. For narrative work, I was lucky to work with the talented Arnold Lim, as first assistant director for the award-winning film, Obscura.
