About Michael Armitage

Michael is an experienced Occupational Physiotherapist and Injury Prevention Consultant, residing in Melbourne, Australia. Since graduating from the University of South Australia in he has worked in a wide range of private, public, corporate and industrial health settings, both in Australia and the UK. Michael currently holds the role of Head of Operations and Senior Occupational Physiotherapist for Active Health Partners (AHP). In this role, Michael is responsible for the design, development and delivery of AHP's occupational injury prevention, health & wellbeing services. As a specialist Occupational Physiotherapist and Rehabilitation Consultant, Michael has worked with industry leading Occupational Health providers including Bodycare Workplace Solutions, Symmetry Physiotherapy, PHW Group, Health & Injury Prevention Australia and Nabenet Health. He has provided services including onsite injury management, rehabilitation, return to work facilitation, ergonomic assessment, job task analysis, risk assessment, manual handling training, pre-employment screening and functional capacity evaluation for Workcover and corporate clients such as Toyota, DHL, Boeing, Qantas, ALDI, Pacific National, TT Line, Patties, Americold, Patrick Terminals, Toll Ipec and Linfox.
