I am a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in managing projects from disparate industries including academic research, federal consulting, nonprofits, commercial banking, international conservation, international development, child health, and microfinance. I am a strong leader with excellent client relationship management skills. I manage all aspects of program implementation including project planning and initiation, resource management, budgeting and financial management, reporting, risk management, delivery, and quality assurance. For the past ten years, I have worked with federal agencies providing assistance in the management of their public assistance award portfolios. With 18 years of federal contracting and award administration experience, I have a detailed understanding of the full federal acquisition and public assistance award lifecycle and have supported 10 of the 26 federal award-making agencies. I offer extensive experience in developing innovative solutions to assist federal agencies and non-profit organizations in all aspects of contract/grants management including developing strategies for effective award portfolio monitoring, designing risk assessments, assessing the impact and implications of evolving regulations, preparing standard operating procedures, designing and implementing tools/activities to assess financial and regulatory compliance, developing training and capacity building programs, and developing systems to track award monitoring results and identify trends.
