About Michael Austin

I set up Blue Dot Consulting as an accountancy practice aimed at helping MDs and CEOs grow their companies successfully. Our clients are usually owner managed businesses, based in and around London, and we understand their needs very well - we're an OMB ourselves! All of us at Blue Dot have worked in "proper jobs" outside of the accountancy profession which means we know what makes businesses tick and how you keep them ticking. You'd quickly see the difference that makes in practice compared to other accountants you have worked with.I love to meet MDs, learn about their companies, their triumphs and disasters and what motivates them to get up in the morning. Often, it's not the prospect of having a meeting with an accountant! If we sound like what you're missing then please connect. Let's see where it leads.MichaelHave a look at our blog to get a sense of who we are - https://bluedotconsulting.co.uk/insights/Specialties: Profit improvementCashflow managementPeace of mind!Bookkeeping and management informationOutsourced bookkeeping, VAT and payroll - we'll be your accounts departmentCredit control and cashflow managementPart-time / interim Finance DirectorPersonal tax, profit extraction and tax planningAnnual accounts, corporation taxTraining on accounting software - especially QuickBooks, Xero, FreeAgent
