About Michael B.

I’m an explorer who decided to take an avid interest in world cultures and psychology and turn that into a career in marketing. I got my start in Beijing with the Olympics in 2008 where I maximized a local level Olympic sponsorship for Staples. After the event concluded, I remained in China and quickly discovered that I could produce value by selling our own sales team in other countries on the idea of extending their global deals into the Chinese market. As a global account manager and leader of a small team, I jointly sold new deals while developing the local Chinese business processes as a project manager to accommodate global customer requirements. In 2011, I joined a global MBA program that brought me to learn about new cultures and markets where I spent a semester in Brazil and also in France earning multiple degrees. As a continuous learner, I enjoy opportunities that enable me to learn about new markets and industries, so I followed that path into an internship with NCR. I leveraged my Chinese market knowledge while researching Retail technology and eventually found myself in a marketing operations role allowing me to continue with my passion for process expansion by building out new marketing technologies. At the same time, I acted as a customer advocacy champion, which let me drive development actions to improve the experience of our customers. This led to leveraging relationships with the happiest customers to tell the NCR story by developing the B2B version of customer reviews and fueling content marketing with persuasive customer endorsed content worldwide. Now I'm working with SolarEdge based in Herzilya, Israel producing content to help power the world.
