As a Respiratory Therapist I've dedicated my life to caring and advocating for those in need, from the intensive care unit to the newborn nursery. In 2019 my colleagues elected me to represent them as their workplace steward, and now I also advocate on behalf of my peers to support their safety and rights in the workplace. In representing my colleagues I realized that I wished to continue on to do more. My colleagues are my community, and my community needs legal advocacy in all aspects of their lives. I have since matriculated into law school, where I one day hope to counsel anyone who finds themselves in need of an advocate to represent them in the times when they need it most.
