As a solicitor at James and West Law, I advise and represent employees in high public interest litigation across the UK focusing on whistleblowing and discrimination. My approach is interdisciplinary, client centred and environmentally conscious. I recognise the socio-legal terrain Claimants find themselves in, having advising individuals from Citizens Advice Bureaus, Law Clinics and in private practice. Access to justice is at the heart of my work, aiming to augment marginalised voices and empower them to assert their rights and deliver wider social justice. I am also a part time tutor at the University of Edinburgh where I prepare and deliver on a range of class modules, review course material and provide feedback on assessments to undergraduate law students.
