About Michael Bartel
In 1990 I began my career as a maintenance welder, in 1991 I went into the Prototype fabrication field. I advanced my fabrication skills by l working on everything from show cars, concept cars to actual size models of helicopters. Then I ventured into the Race Car business from Drag Race cars to builds for Bonneville salt flat top speed records. I have been working hard and finally go a chance at a supervisor position and I took it. I feel like I have an advantage as I have spent 20 plus years on the floor I know what it takes to do the job from Machining to Welding and interpreting the Blue Prints. I have faced many challenges with parts and full builds that have never been made before therefore it makes my job easier when I understand what needs to be done on the floor. I am now a project coordinator.
