About Michael Bartolomei

As Co-Founder and CEO of Rootstock Holdings, I help landowners across the U.S. convert their rural properties into real value. Every parcel of land has a story, and often that story shifts—families move, priorities change, or financial needs arise. My work at Rootstock is about making those transitions easier, faster, and fairer for the people who trust us with their land. I bring to this role more than six years of leadership experience in the real estate investing and SaaS industries, where I’ve worked at the executive level to design programs that prioritize client needs and build long-term relationships. This background gives me a unique perspective: I understand not only how companies view transactions, but also what land and homeowners are truly looking for—clarity, fairness, and outcomes that align with their goals. Before co-founding Rootstock, I served as a C-level executive in the SaaS sector, where I specialized in bridging the gap between companies and customers. I continue to work in the industry today as a fractional executive with Launch Control, a leading REI communications platform, where I also produce and host Deal Nation, a podcast dedicated to elevating conversations in the real estate investment space. At the heart of everything I do—whether it’s running Rootstock, hosting a podcast, or collaborating with partners—is the belief that trust and transparency drive results.
