For the past 30 years, I have managed and executed large and complex capital projects in the food, dairy, and beverage industry. For Land O’ Lakes, I function as the Principal Engineer responsible for launching new capital projects and troubleshooting company wide. My background spans process engineering, chemical engineering, project management, people management, and can be described by the following themes: Full lifecycle new system and product launch My approach is hands-on from partnering with R&D, to technical design, capital plan, build, installation, packaging, commissioning equipment and processes. Major greenfield product lines and launches have included: President Brie Cheese (whole plant), Whey protein concentrate (WPC) systems for Land O’ Lakes cheese production, Land O’Lakes Spreadable Butter, Helios/Lifeway Kefir. Yield improvement projects My approach to minimize key ingredient loss, improve yield and margin is informed by my expertise as both a chemical and process engineering. Troubleshooting Rapidly troubleshoot, identify, and lead repair of technical and process problems during production operations. I make use of my expertise and experience in process engineering and chemical engineering to perform root cause analysis and improve plant functionality and efficiency.
