About Michael Berger

I continually seek opportunities to learn and to grow - as a leader, a partner, a person. I honor the craft. When handled with care, it shines through in the end and it’s gorgeous. I’m drawn to a challenge. I find myself most comfortable just outside of my “comfort-zone.” I’ve traveled around the world and back. And still, I’ll always have farther to go. I care deeply about the process. The people. The outcome. I’m all in. With over 20 years of experience in 3D design, I’ve spanned the worlds of film, television, video games, and products. I’ve led teams and I’ve been a collaborative member of many others. I’ve been tasked with creating and executing my own designs and I’ve contributed to the realization of others’ visions. I’m passionate about 3D design, footwear, and the workflows, tools, and technologies that enable them. My current tools of choice include Maya, Z-Brush, Substance (and the rest of Adobe CC), Procreate, Rhino, and Keyshot, to name a few. I’m also proficient in modeling for rapid prototyping. As tech propels us into the future, I’m enthusiastically exploring AI tool development and image creation, AR/VR, and real time rendering.
