About Michael Bertamini

Michael is the former CEO of EnergyWare. EnergyWare is focused on the reduction of wasteful energy through Energy Efficient Technology. As the founder of Energyware, Michael was able to grow the company from a single location in South Florida to operations in 32 states with over 800 representatives. The company was acquired by Jox Energy for a 4x return to shareholders in under five years. Prior to Energyware, Michael was one of the executives who worked closely in the acquisition of iCore Networks to Vonage Holdings for 92MM. This was an all cash transaction. Michael, who joined iCore in 2005, led all sales efforts which generated over $190MM in contracted revenue and grew the top line by an annual compounded growth rate of 25%. Michael has launched offices across the country, established iCore's National and Key Account program, and directed the channel efforts. iCore's robust sales force lead to customers in all 50 states and over 20 countries. Prior to this, Michael was the Business Sales Manager at T-Mobile, restructuring an under performing team to be ranked in the top five nationally. His teams are well known for driving the highest value, while promoting a customer first mentality. Michael and his business accomplishments have been featured in several media outlets and awards programs, including Inc. Magazine, The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC)’s Hottest Management Team Award, and Helios HR’s Apollo Award, to name a few. Michael has also been recognized and awarded Smart CEO's Executive of the Year Award. What he's most proud of however, is the achievements of the folks he's worked with. Many were able see dramatic improvements personally, professionally, and financially.
