Consulting at Proservice and the captive insurance subsidiary of Proservice Hawaii, I advise on workers’ compensation, temporary disability, and healthcare programs serving thousands of employers and more than members. I influence a team of 35 across underwriting, reinsurance, claims, actuarial, and sales functions, delivering measurable results — including reducing loss ratios by 20 points, restoring profitability in a large healthcare program, and driving double-digit growth targets. I also have input on enterprise multi-jurisdiction plans. Previously, I executed a portfolio of management consulting projects (via my own firms Malama RMC LLC, and Top Line Management Consulting Inc, and directly independent), advising insurers and corporate clients on A&H frameworks, healthcare financing, risk management, strategic growth and market entry across Europe and North America. Earlier leadership roles included finance and underwriting at Proservice Hawaii, where I drove 70% premium growth on 35% client growth, and senior finance transformational roles in Europe.
