About Michael Bishop

I am a seasoned IT professional with over 30 years of experience in a variety of roles within the industry. My background includes two (2) years in second level management, five (5) years of first level management and twenty three (23) years as an individual contributor in a variety of technical and analytical roles. I also have twelve (12) years of management experience from managing my own business (weekend sports photography). My experience includes companies both large and small and includes construction supervision, infrastructure design, procurement, build out, testing, installation and maintenance. I also have experience in managing application development efforts as well as the design and procurement of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Lastly, I have experience with new technologies such as consolidated infrastructure, cloud hosting (SaaS, Iaas, PaaS) and managed cloud services. I have a proven track record of leading and managing project teams both local and remote. I am adept at dealing with the diverse challenges, work environments and schedules that are common in business today. With my communication and relationship skills I have the ability to assess and resolve a wide range of financial and project management issues that enable me to repeatedly deliver projects on time and on budget.
