About Michael Blackburn

I am a trial attorney with a passion for litigation and solving complex legal problems. I strive to bring energy, tenacity, and leadership to any team. I have represented both the United States and over 100 individual Marines and sailors, and seek to provide each client with professional, compassionate, and pragmatic representation to secure the best possible outcomes in any forum. I have tried 13 cases to verdict on both sides of the bar, including 8 in front of juries, as both a lead and co-counsel and multiple high-visibility homicide cases. I have also represented clients in front of over 50 three-member administrative separation boards. Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked for a large bank and two fortune 100 companies focusing on the analysis of complex and dynamic financial instruments, lending risk management and and regulatory compliance. I use that background along with my experience and training as a Marine officer to provide a well-rounded approach to problem solving, analysis, and risk management in litigation.
