Background
About Michael Blackwell
I've been in radio for 30+ years now and still love coming to work each and every day. I pride myself in doing my job to the best of my abilities and enjoy meeting new people every day. While so many other radio stations have gone away from local radio for one reason or another, Backyard Broadcasting has remained all about the community. That commitment to the community has helped make us to be the number one radio group in the market. I am the program director for Classic Hits 93.3. Along with that, I am the operations manager for the Backyard Broadcasting cluster of radio stations that include Country 105.1 WILQ, Rock 99.3 & 103.7 WZXR, Hot 107.9, Classic Hits 93.3 WBZD, and AM1340 & FM101.7 WWPA.
