About Michael Bondar

My story begins as a child living in Ukraine (former republic of the USSR). After decades of experiencing religious persecution, my parents packed up all that we had and - along with my sister and I - immigrated to the US. My parents put themselves last and took on the challenge of crossing the globe with barely anything to their name to start a new life for themselves and their children. Our family landed in the heartland of America – Overland Park, Kansas. Growing up, I was always drawn to technology - building computers and tinkering with the latest gadgets. I majored in Computer Science at the University of Kansas and am a proud Jayhawk (and an enormous KU basketball fan). I encountered Deloitte who was recruiting on campus for the Summer Scholar (intern) program. While I didn’t know of Deloitte before that encounter, I felt that by the nature of being a professional services organization and their “product” being their people – this was the right place for me. After joining Deloitte, I spent the first ~15 years of my career helping organizations all over the globe and across industries transform themselves through business process and technology. After a brief stint in the high tech sector and getting a sense of what it’s like to be a buyer of services, I returned to Deloitte to work in the Office of the Chairman, getting an incredible point of view to governance and management of the world’s largest professional services firm. Always being pulled back to my roots as a technologist, I then led Deloitte’s Global Innovation group focused on developing, scaling and commercialization our asset-enabled businesses. After two years in that role, I had the honor of launching and leading Deloitte’s Enterprise Trust offering in the US and globally, helping organizations define, contextualize, and measure trust and take meaningful steps to earn and protect trust with various stakeholders. Now once again, I’m pulled back to my roots and my passion. I am honored to take on the role of ServiceNow Offering Leader in our GPS business. Deloitte and ServiceNow working together is a special partnership. I firmly believe that there isn't another combination in the world better equipped to increase efficiency, drive automation, streamline operations and bring the world into the future. I think of our work not just as implementing software, but rather solving the most complex organizational challenges. I'm stepping into an awesome practice and am full of enthusiasm of all the ways in which we can help and drive impact for our clients.
