Background
About Michael Border
I’m the founder and director of TIFA Life, an organisation providing high quality supported accommodation, based in Swansea and focused on improving the lives of young people, families, and communities across South Wales. My work is driven by a simple belief: people deserve safe spaces, support that works, and opportunities to grow—regardless of their background or starting point.Through TIFA Life, we provide supported accommodation for residental care leavers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC), along with wellbeing programmes, community engagement, and youth empowerment work. More recently, I’ve launched TIFA Recruits, our recruitment arm, to help care providers access reliable, compassionate staff at short notice. With a background in youth work, housing, and frontline services, I’ve seen first-hand the impact that thoughtful, consistent support can have. That’s what we aim to deliver every day.If you’re working in care, housing, education, or social change—and looking to collaborate—I’d love to connect.
