About Michael Bostelman

I am currently working as a corporate worldwide product change management leader at Cummins Inc. I am recognized as a leading engine Configuration Management and Design Integration (CM/DI) expert throughout Cummins global engine business units. I have 25 years in product configuration management and product definition experience at Cummins and have taken products from concept to manufacturing. Throughout my tenure at Cummins, I have garnered vast experience in marketing and service which have provided great insight for continued process improvement efforts for CM/DI. I started my career in product design; it was during those 10 years in design that I realized my passion for product configuration management. With that passion, I have developed product definition and configuration management processes, procedures, and systems for a number of Cummins engine joint ventures around the globe. I have a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Toledo and am CMII certified. I have had opportunities to travel globally for Cummins and lived in the United Kingdom for several years. During that time in England, I developed a love for steam traction engines.
