A highly motivated and well-trained registered respiratory therapist who graduated from East Los Angeles College/Santa Monica College, an AMA-approved, advanced practice respiratory therapy program. Actively seeking a position with a Organ Procument Organization to become a Procurement Transplant Coordinator.Conducted two rigorous 16 week clinical rotations at UCLA Health Systems. The first rotation was at Santa Monica Hospital. The second rotation was at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The clinical experience at UCLA was extremely beneficial and brought the academics of respiratory care to real life. A BS in Psychology from the University of Washington has laid a proper foundation for me to enter into the health care arena as a very gifted and talented registered respiratory therapist.I reflect on the wealth of life experiences and past careers I have succeeded at. I have learned that it is essential to play fair in the “sandbox” of the work environment. I have always had the ability to relate and get along with co-workers and feel that it is crucial to possess this skill. I take pride in my bedside manner with my patients. I have drawn on countless experiences of caring for people. I have worked with developmentally disabled adults and learned so much from them about being courageous whilst facing their disabilities with strength and grace.As a Licensed Massage Practitioner I worked with thousands of clients to help facilitate their healing and wellness. My clinical experience at UCLA Hospitals as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Intern taught me the finer elements of what makes a sound and beneficial Respiratory Therapist. Put all together; my background and seasoned experiences has set the stage for this next long-term chapter of my life purpose.
