About Michael Breach

As a Technical Reviewer at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, I have previous diverse experience in the design and development of equipment meeting all the requirements of design control documentation and analytical support of the existing fleet. I am a Professional Engineer (PE) and a board qualified reactor technical reviewer, with a master's degree in mechanical engineering with distinction from Gannon University. My career core competencies include project engineering, ANSYS products, engineering management, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). I have proven ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively organize to achieve specific goals, spearhead projects, and work collaboratively in a team environment. I have excellent communication skills and experience in working in a multi-department infrastructure as well as managing consultants and departmental subordinates. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to ensure the safety and reliability of nuclear power plants and to contribute to the advancement of nuclear engineering and design.
