Over twenty-five year’s experience in the design and engineering of upstream and downstream Oil & Gas facilities with extensive experience in conceptual studies, front end, and detailed design as part of engineering and EPC. More than twelve years offshore projects experience. Fully capable of reading, interpreting and managing engineering tasks from basic level to detailed design covering all types of activities including construction and commissioning typical in an Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas environment. A team leader with an excellent ability to communicate, plan and motivate the project team to generate quality engineering deliverables within project budget and schedule. Ability to co-ordinate interdisciplinary Leads and other engineers for completion of Instrument, Electrical, Telecoms and Control discipline design. Engineering co-ordinator and Project Manager on several projects. Represented both contractor and Client within Client meetings and Supplier coordination reviews. Ensured the latest Client specifications and International standards were available within the department. Ensured that staff were always made aware of Company and Client Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies internally within office and externally on-site. Areas of responsibility have included management reporting, scheduling, budget / cost estimating and monitoring, man-hours / resource allocation and monitoring, discipline member training, liaison with Clients, Contractors and Suppliers, maintaining QA / QC within discipline and meeting HSE targets. Organised and given technical presentations to company management and Clients for new technology projects and alternate designs.
