I currently work with the media regulator in Ireland, Coimisiún na Meán, as an Assistant Director of Licensed Broadcasters & VOD. I work with the team that oversees the regulation and development of the media sector in Ireland, ensuring its diversity, independence, and quality. With over 35 years of experience in the European media industry, I have extensive knowledge and expertise in media operations, strategy, and content creation for diverse and inclusive audiences. Previously, I was the Group Manager of GCN, Ireland's national LGBTQ+ press, and the Project Manager of IBI, the representative body for the independent commercial broadcasting sector. In these roles, I managed the performance and daily operations of GCN, delivered cross-industry initiatives for IBI, and won multiple awards for my creative campaigns and content across various platforms and markets. Additionally, I offered media consultancy services to various clients, helping them with media planning, content development, and distribution. I am proficient in business and media software, digital and social media platforms, and emerging technologies. I am passionate about informing, educating, connecting, and entertaining diverse audiences, platforming and amplifying their voices, and advocating for positive change.
