About Michael Bright

Since 2007, I have worked to learn as much about the beverage industry as I possibly could. I have learned a lot about the bar industry, menu design, product development and implementation, consumer relations and market analysis, as well as formed many relationships both professional and personal. Most recently my drive to learn has yielded a post-graduate certificate in Artisanal Distilling from Niagara College. I have always felt a connection to spirits beyond consumption and I have a found a genuine passion for spirit production and development. I spent 2009 - 2014 operating as Front of House Manager for an Irish Pub and a Night Club/Concert Hall simultaneously, working 50+ hours a week while also completing my Bachelor's Degree from Brock University. I was only able to do this by developing my organizational and communication skills. I had two separate sets of employees, two different businesses to manage and a full course load. These hard, long years helped form my affinity for beer, wine and spirits. I want to continue to learn more about beverage production, and I look forward to where this journey takes me next.
