About Michael Brigman

Michael is an Audio Post Production engineer with 30 years of practical experience. When he began, post production dwas still using 2" and mag, 1"c and D2 was the hottest thing around. Michael spearheaded the transition to digital media for Modern Videofilm, receiving an Avid operators certificate for Pro Tools operations, and helped create Modern's workflows that have now become standard in media post production and distribution. Most recently Michael’s work included audio operations management at 2G Digital Post. Upon start, he helped move all the QC and audio into new monitoring hardware, reducing error rates across the board. Revamped audio localization workflows to triple output. Designed an atmos studio, and began learning and training employees to QC, set up, encode, decode, and conform mixes to picture in Dolby ATMOS. Michael has worked on many creative projects for Tyler Perry and the CNBC 2016 fall line up commercials, and many others. He has mixed for several documentaries and independent films and trailers. Michael is an audio post production expert working with all audio formats, he excels in a team environment. Data and technology have defined his career and he continues to strive to learn more each and every day.
