I serve the Golconda Fire Protection District from Valmy, NV as an Assistant Chief with the Valmy Fire Department. In this role, I support the safety culture and readiness of my team by continued dedication and commitment to the community. As an Environmental Coordinator at Lithium Americas Corp, I am responsible for ensuring the environmental compliance, security, and operations management of the company's projects. I work with internal and external stakeholders to optimize processes, promote sustainability initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance. I started in environmental compliance and safety in the mining industry, having previously worked as an Environmental Coordinator and Technician at Hycroft Mine. There, I contributed to the development and execution of environmental plans, permits, and audits, as well as the training and supervision of environmental staff and contractors. I also participated in the Emergency Response Team. I am passionate about excellence, problem-solving, and effective communication, and I am dedicated to fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and workplace safety.
