About Michael Buettel

I am a fifth year Honour Arts in History student at the University of Ottawa. For the last two years, I have been working for Employment and Social Development Canada as a Junior Communications Officer with Accessible Canada, where I have developed my skills in teamwork, communication, and planning.For three terms I had been serving as an executive for the uOttawa Model United Nations Association. In my roles, I handled a variety of responsibilities. These responsibilities included public relations, team leadership, events planning, graphic design, and much more.In years prior, I have worked in contract and part-time roles at FritoLay Canada and Loblaws. At these jobs I developed my skills of team coordination in a fast paced environment, as well as customer service and meeting deadlines.In both my work experience and extracurricular responsibilities, I have demonstrated that I am capable of completing tasks both independently and in cooperation with others while maintaining a high standard of quality, organization, and communication.Compounded with my experience and skills, I am passionate about maintaining a positive work environment. In my spare time I cook, do art, and play video games with my friends.
