Hi, I'm Michael Burak, founder and CEO of Languages in Motion Ltd. Translation/Interpretation Services. Our company is dedicated to providing industry-specialized, certified-level Translators and Interpreters for large corporations and firms, Governments, Municipalities, small to medium-sized businesses, and individuals. As the CEO of Languages in Motion, you'll find me connecting with our clients, giving high fives to my team members, and ensuring our company is operating effectively. In addition to that, you'll find me reaching out to new connections for growth, be it through partnerships with other translation/interpreting services providers or with our spectacular clients. I encourage our team to always work with and find the best translators and interpreters in the industry and help them connect with work they enjoy. Here's a bit about my past: Executive Advisor, past President and Founder of the University of Calgary Translation Association (UCTA) and the International Translators and Interpreters Foundation INTIF and UCTA help people develop the skills and tools they need to become successful translators/interpreters and give them access to the tools they need to be successful in both business and in translation. The organization provides a place for students and community members to develop their translation and interpretation abilities. Education: BA in Spanish; BA in Linguistics with a concentration in Russian. Entrepreneur Training at MKS Learn, Momentum, and Entrepreneurs Organization Accelerator (EOA). Goals & Aspirations: To add value to the companies and organizations I work with. To benefit the society in which I live and provide a worldwide influence for good. To bridge the gaps between cultures and generate respect and opportunities for people. To create long-lasting relationships and close connections with friends and colleagues.
