PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE: A challenging position that can utilize both my prior academic and professional background and offers new opportunities for professional and personal growth in a culturally diverse community. Current interest is to pursue a personal mission: active research and development of novel, innovative, and demonstrably effective strategies to address prevalent community mental health issues.QUALIFICATIONS: I have an extensive background as a psychotherapist, college professor and graduate school practicum researcher. These positions in varying degrees have included administrative, supervisory, or management responsibilities. I have developed a deep appreciation and respect for cultural diversity having lived and worked within a multi-ethnic population (Hawaii) and through my extensive world travels. My graduate degrees include a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology and a M.S.W. I am currently licensed as a psychologist in 5 states: South Carolina (#1754),Ohio (#6422), New Mexico (PSY 1600), Virginia and Iowa (096089). I am also currently licensed as a clinical social worker in South Carolina (L.I.S.Wl). I have a working knowledge of current office and data base computer software systems. I am fluent in written and spoken English and semi-fluent in written and spoken Spanish.
