About Michael C. Skomba

In the 25 years plus that I have owned and managed several traditional businesses the importance of Information Technology has skyrocketed. Anyone thinking they can run a business today without a good handle on how technology works in their market will soon be watching the competition shoot past them and leaving them in their dust. Every week I meet at least one new company owner or manager with a familiar tale."We always had a computer guy just come in when things were broke." and now they are asking us how to get them caught up on the latest technology as they were too busy running their business to kept current. Unfortunately these established businesses are now the equivalent of startups as they struggle to grasp the technological advances made in recent years and how to apply them to their everyday processes. Our expertise in making these kinds of transitions is why the NIC Group is the perfect fit for those companies suffering what we refer to as the slingshot effect. Our analysis and project planning and implementation addresses these pain points and accelerates the time it takes to see a return from the process.
