About Michael Camese

My work experience started in 2005. From 2005 to 2014, I worked several entry level positions: dishwasher/appetizer cook, cleaning up local bars, transportation driver for a local nursery, custodian for an elementary school, and an audio engineer for a concert venue. In 2011, I decided to pursue higher education at Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO). I enrolled as a non-traditional student at the age of 22. While attending SUNO, I joined Student Advocates Committee where we encouraged students and staff to live tobacco-free lives. In March 2014, I was recognized for my academic performance in a business college and I was awarded an invitation to join Beta Gamma Sigma (Honor Society for Business Students). In December 2014, I began my employment at Walker Family Services (New Orleans). I was quickly recognized as a case manager with great communication skills, interpersonal skills and having the ability to work with a diverse population. I work for Walker Family Services (New Orleans) until its closure June 2020. In November 2020, I began to work remotely as a data entry administrator for Walker Family Services (Jonesboro, GA). In February 2021, I relocated to Atlanta, GA; and was hired as Lead Auditor at Walker Family Services (Jonesboro, GA). I develop the internal data audit process which passed a Georgia State audit with a score of 92. August 1, 2021, I was promoted Executive Director of Walker Family Services (Jonesboro, GA) as the company expanded to a new location in Atlanta, GA. I currently oversee day-to-day operations and manage relationships with external stakeholders. Day-to-Day operations include: Transportation, Weekly Audits, Daily Documentation Submission, Lunch, Weekly Covid Testing, Crisis, Strategic Planning, and Inventory.
