About Michael Campbell

As a Licensed Master Social Worker and U.S. Army veteran, I am committed to improving mental health care and advancing social justice in our communities. My experiences in combat, emergency medical settings, and advocacy work have shaped my understanding of the profound impacts of trauma, particularly among first responders, veterans, and healthcare professionals. As a therapist, I focus on helping individuals process trauma, build resilience, and strengthen their relationships within their personal lives and the broader community. I am especially passionate about working with first responders, law enforcement, fire departments, and healthcare teams to address the mental health challenges they face. This includes promoting trauma-informed care, teaching de-escalation strategies grounded in empathy, and fostering healthier, more equitable interactions with the communities they serve. My commitment to social justice informs all aspects of my work. From my time as an NAACP officer to my clinical internship practice, I strive to amplify marginalized voices and challenge systems that perpetuate inequity. Mental health care is a cornerstone of stronger, healthier communities, and I am dedicated to creating spaces where individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered to thrive. I look forward to growing in my role as a supervised clinician, collaborating with others to build more resilient individuals, teams, and communities while addressing the mental health needs that often go unseen.
