I am a municipal planning leader with nearly a decade of experience guiding complex development applications, shaping policy, and building collaborative relationships across southwestern Ontario. As Manager of Planning for the Township of North Dumfries, I lead a skilled team in delivering land use planning services, overseeing community planning priorities, and advising Council on development proposals of varying complexity, policy interpretation, and community planning priorities. My career has spanned roles in both the public and private sectors, including the City of Cambridge and leading consulting firms. I have managed everything from high-density urban infill and greenfield subdivisions to industrial employment lands and rural developments. My work has included major policy initiatives, legislative transitions, and Indigenous engagement efforts, always grounded in the principles of sound planning, responsible growth, and the public interest. I bring a balanced, solutions oriented approach, combining planning expertise, political awareness, and strong communication skills to navigate legislative frameworks, mediate stakeholder interests, and deliver results.
