About Michael Canary

I think my unique educational experience qualifies me to teach at your school. I have taught in rural areas and in urban areas. I have taught in schools that included all the students in a county and in a school district that included one hundred people in the whole town. I have worked with students of all different cultures. I worked at an alternative school for three years. I worked with students that already had felonies and were wearing ankle monitoring bracelets by the time they were fourteen years old. All these different teaching experiences have formed my strong conviction to teach all students. These experiences have shown me that all students, no matter how big or small a town, want to learn in a safe family like atmosphere. They want to have fun while learning. They want a teacher that cares about them and their interests. They want a teacher that respects all cultures and teaches his students that they should respect all cultures and want to learn about them every day. These are all the things I would be proud to bring to your fine academic institution.
