Michael Capell holds four highly coveted professional insurance designations and was one of the first ten individuals in Pennsylvania with the CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist) designation. Michael continues to achieve - working with a network of esteemed professionals he remains on the frontline of the industry to develop solutions and create policyholder advantages. Michael is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS), and Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS). With an eye on the technical intersection of risk and insurance Michael develops functional risk and insurance programs in complex areas of industry largely centering on chemical process / industrial process facilities and those peripherally connected (distribution, transportation, etc.). His experience and specialization is also sought on a variety other areas including program analysis and evaluation, commercial property schedules, management and professional risks, and multi-jurisdictional operations. He has also participated as outside insurance advisor on several high profile construction projects. Forging a partnership with customers, Michael works with owners, c-suite, in house counsel, and risk managers under an enterprise approach to security, resilience, and overall customer profitability which is maintained through a process of continuous improvement.
