About Michael Cargill

Michael L. Cargill received his undergraduate degree in marketing from Miami University in 1969, and his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1979. Michael Cargill’s current practice areas are medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, commercial litigation and domestic relations. He has participated in many multi-million dollar resolutions of claims in the areas of medical negligence, wrongful death and personal injury. While building a private litigation practice in the 1980′s, Mike obtained substantial trial and courtroom experience while serving as a staff attorney with the Miami County Public Defender’s Office from 1979 to 1985. Mike directed that office as Miami County Public Defender from 1985 to 1988. Mike is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Miami County Bar Association and the Ohio Association for Justice. Mike has been actively involved in the Troy/Miami County community throughout the forty years that he has resided here. His most long-standing commitment has been to Troy Christian Schools, Inc, where he has served as a school board member since 1981, and currently serves as President of that board.
