My background is varied in both in education and 'hands on'. I currently hold an A. S. in Electronics, in the areas of 'hands on’; my background includes but is not limited to maintenance and repair on various types of Electrical Public Transportation M.U.N.I. Light Rail Vehicles, M.U.N.I. Buses, B.A.R.T. trains, Amtrak trains, Bombardiers Airtrain vehicles, wayside, rail and switch maintenance. 9 years of experience in installation, repair and maintenance of various types of mechanical and electrical equipment, used in electrical public transportation system vehicles and wayside systems Most recently, my responsibilities as Electrical Service Technician at Alstom TLS Installs and maintains a wide range of electrical apparatus, including, but not limited to, control boards, electric motors, and rail car emergency lighting systems Uses test instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, megger, voltmeter, and other basic tools of the electrical trade Develops and works from electrical specifications, schematic diagrams, and construction blueprints Maintains, supports, and promotes a safe work environment while complying with all of Alstom safety rules, policies, and procedures
