I took a “temp” job at a healthcare company and have now been immersed in the industry for more than 30 years. I look forward to continuing to grow within the industry. Current position: Manager – Data Processing/Quality Assurance Mgr. Professional Health Service, Inc./ Havertown, PA PHS is a mobile medical testing company established to protect the health and safeguard the productivity of working individuals. Individualized health testing services are developed in regard to general industry, government agencies and municipalities throughout the United States. Screening programs are designed to meet established health testing requirements for hearing conservation, fit testing and medical compliances unique to each customer. Medical information is collected, processed, stored and delivered with security measures in place to meet current HIPAA standards. I received my MBA in Biotechnology and Healthcare Management from Penn State University in 2015. My MBA increased my ability to deal with current healthcare concerns including health insurance issues and advances in technology. My HIPAA studies are pertinent to current day collection and distribution of medical information. I believe in the importance of education. I am currently studying American Sign Language. I am not fluent, but my finger-spelling ability gets me through most situations. Communication with the Deaf community regarding health and safety issues is important. After 30 years in the healthcare industry, I still wish to continue moving forward within the industry. I want to continue to set and achieve new goals in order to advance my standing.
