About Michael Cavar

More than 25 years of professional experience in IT also means a lot of experience with change management. I was able to start my international expertise/experience at Hewlett-Packard in 2004. Planning and implementing many exciting projects in the automotive, optics, defense, manufacturing and healthcare sectors worldwide. I had the great opportunity to get to know different cultures (Asia, Africa and America). My basic is a solid education at Carl ZEISS in Oberkochen. Developing myself in and through different roles- From technician to solution architect - From project manager to program manager with international teams - From the console to architect, planner, manager and mentor Of course, I also take on responsibility as a team lead and manager. Therefore, other roles as key account manager, senior account manager or even as director of managed services are not really surprising. Consolidation, reorganization or disciplinary and technical personnel responsibility for a team of over 45 employees. Technical / personnel planning of costs, budget or resources comes easily to me. The experience and expertise of countless and successful projects in a variety of roles helps me here. I can also separate them well. I have a broad range of specialist knowledge in the areas of network, infrastructure, IT security and data centers. Project and service management is a common thread and connects many things together. Helps in a task force or as an interim manager (when things get tough and strange). Global strategy, complexity in IT functions and processes are not uncommon in medium-sized companies (German = Mittelstand). I was able to achieve positive results with different service partners and providers of the IT services to be provided. In a global world, the collaboration (communication) of IT service providers and external providers is not a challenge - that is how a good team grows. Consulting - listening - enables ideas and pragmatic solutions. Involving the team (internal/external/customer) helps and is one of the secrets of success. Doesn't cost much. It's very useful - and sucessful. I am always open to innovations and new technologies, for example to drive the further development of campus and building infrastructure in the course of digitization, Industry 4.0 and OT/IT level. Or simply to work on the appropriate cloud implementation. Hands-on mentality, initiative, trust must not be empty words. Just doing it / just starting is always a important first step -)
