About Michael Chad Collett

My professional construction life began in the mid 90's. As a general laborer and equipment operator for Brown and Root I was exposed to a high level of quality craftsmanship and working safely and efficiently at a plastics plant on the Texas gulf coast. A few years later, I went to work for Darr Equipment in the forklift division. In the shop, I worked with mechanics and unloaded new equipment as it arrived. My desire to be in sales led me to visit with the sales team often. After a year, I found myself learning how to order new equipment and manage inventory, plus completing the make ready process. When a rental coordinator position came open I was promoted from within and relocated. In 2002, my wife Kristi and I decided to raise our children in a small town close to their grandparents. For the last 15 plus years we have resided in Hamilton, Texas. From 2002 - 2006 I worked in technical support, installation, and sales for the largest Internet provider in Central Texas. The next ten years were spent working for a small industrial construction company. As Business Development Manager my responsibilities included project management and customer care, forming estimates, sales, and hiring. In April of 2017, my brother-n-law Jason D. Hawn and I decided to partner and form CREWpoint Contractors, LLC. CREWpoint has multiple divisions. Whether a capital project in a manufacturing facility, a piping job in the oil field, a P3 project with a general contractor, or improvements on a farm/ranch CREWpoint Contractors aspires to be the solution when customers need a CREW.
