About Michael Chase

I am currently a Research Administrator at Ocean State Research Institute, where we employ a "cradle to grave" model covering both pre and post award research administration. Committed to advancing research and innovation, my mission is to maximize funding opportunities by providing exceptional guidance and support. I am well versed in managing complex contracts and proposals. I am committed to continuing my training and education and in January of 2025 received my Research Management Specialist Certificate from the Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI) I have lead the negotiation and administration of contracts, leveraging my skills in grants management to interpret regulations and process grants effectively. I am proficient in developing research proposals alongside our PI's and preparing budgets to in enhancing the institute's ability to secure funding.
