About Michael Cheng

Michael Cheng is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC and Mental health educator/presenter. During his time in his undergraduate and graduate programs, he also worked as a Occupational Therapy Assistant, Social Resource worker, and Carpenter. He graduated from UBC with a Masters of Education in Counselling Degree. Michael provides individual and group counselling services to a variety of diverse communities and peoples utilizing EMDR, emotion focused therapy, and AEDP to build psychological safety, return a sense of control, and practical skills in order to help address the challenging circumstances that impact his clients. Michael has done presentations with CACUSS, Beedie Luminaries, Service Canada Governnexx Talk, and Langara College.
