About Michael Chiang

Every day we coast along a digital highway responsible for creating more than 3 quintillion bytes of data per day. To give a perspective, that would be around 600 million DVDs created per day. With how accessible the vast oceans of information are to the common citizen, it is no wonder that I am drawn to this bustling ecosystem. I enjoy finding patterns and trends in this ever changing and interconnected world. What are the current popular baby names? How has productivity changed since the shift to a work from home culture? Which cities or areas have the most people been drawn to in recent years? These just some of the questions that I would like to explore during my career. During my undergraduate studies, I had the pleasure of working in a genetics lab, where I helped create models to streamline research projects. This experience sparked my interest in the Data Science field, and spurred me on to learn more. I am therefore excited to combine my background in Computer Science and my Data Science skills to provide data driven solutions to any facets of the world.
