I am a stroke survivor after brain surgery. My goals are to help others. I do know what it is like to depend on others to help with a persons ADLs. I am a co-facilitator of Brainstrong. A local brain injury Suport group in Gunnison Colorado. Because of the need that I needed that wasn't here. With the help of my OT and others with brain injures started a support group. Together with Nichole Baker, we have been working on the third annual Brainstrong conference. A brain injury conference for survivors, caregivers and providers that takes place in Gunnison, Colorado on August 7-9th 2014.
