About Michael Chiswell

I have good experience with computers and 365 software. Aspects of word processer, PowerPoint and excel are strong points of mine, I have knowledge of Gantt charts, forcefield and fishbone analysis which all correspond with producing documents to perform in all areas of project management. Due to this level of knowledge, this with life experience provided me with the knowledge I need to work in a project management environment. I have taken part in a postgraduate master’s in public health masters at Birmingham City University, giving me the experience, I need to work in this environment. The master’s in public health has given me experience in, public health foundation, global public health, epidemiology, project management, community development and a dissertation in an area of health of my own choice. With the assistance of these modules, this has enhanced my knowledge surrounding risk management, time management, budgets and critical thinking software needed to work in the project health environment. I have also taken part in an undergraduate Social Justice degree at Solihull University Centre/Northampton University, which surrounds itself with areas of migration and health care and human rights and sanctions. Additional learning outcomes from the Social Justice degree, are as follows: social policy, economics, and social justice issues within society all reports, essays, and presentation with outcomes of 2.1. Due to taking part in the degree through covid-19 all aspects of learning were switched to online learning, also increasing my knowledge of different types of software, leading to new levels of knowledge. Aspects of the degree also included a one-hundred hours work placement should have continued alongside the Social Justice degree, I did take part in a Government MP placement, which was very insightful, and had very good learning outcomes. With the experience of healthcare, this has provided me with the skills neded to medication administration, write and update care plans, writing and updating policies, project designed, Individuals and company finance support, and running of a team of different staffing levels, organizing employment training staff meeting, staff supervisions, timetables, communication with health professionals giving me the transferable skills, I will need for further employment and challenges within the future.
