Over 15 years of experience developing Clinical Data Repositories and Business Intelligence for Health Care. Directly involved in multi-platform integration of Clinical Data Repository and Business Analytics systems at the enterprise level of the Academic Medical Service Plan. Technical lead role in multiple projects, including design and development of enterprise-level Data Warehouse which integrates Billing, Scheduling, Productivity, and Quality of Service. Responsible for ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Load) of data from multiple source systems (billing, scheduling, telecommunications, accounting, etc.) into the Data Warehouse. Chief Database Architect and Designer of Dimensional Models for the OLAP Warehouse. Well versed in all aspects of Microsoft SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, 2019, 2022 data base management tools, OLAP analysis tools, BI development tools. Intricate knowledge of industry standard hardware platforms, including networking, storage systems, distributed computing and SAN networks. For a number of years taught Electrical Engineering classes focusing on design of computer interfaces (communications, video sub-systems, Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog data interfaces) and microprocessor-based embedded systems. As a tenured Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering supervised 5 completed Ph.D. Dissertations, and 12 completed Master’s Thesis. Headed the departmental Digital Systems Division, and managed the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Laboratory. Over 25 years of experience digital signal processing hardware/software, digtal signal / image processing algorithms, systems integration, medical imaging and medical instrumentation. Principal Investigator/Manager of numerous funded research projects related to Digital Instrumentation, Digital Signal Processing methods, and Medical Imaging (total amount of received funding in excess of Holder of a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering. Author of over 40 research papers and reports.
